Live Like You Were Dying

So SPAIN is the winner for this year Euro football championship. Never stay awake at 2:45am to follow on this match, I know it will be a great match but I don’t think I will enjoy such a odd hour game.

So this is the guy who made Spain a winner in this final match, Fernando Torres, the guy who scored the only goal for this final match.

Spain claimed their first major title for 44 years after winning Euro 2008 with a deserved victory over Germany.

Liverpool striker Fernando Torres was Spain’s goal hero, striking after 33 minutes when he cleverly lifted Xavi’s pass over Germany keeper Jens Lehmann.

  So another sleepless night experience for lot of football fans is over after 2 wks of crazy games. This same group of fans will be up and fresh in front of TV after midnight 2 years from now, the next World Cup will be up than.

I Will Survive - A very popular song to play on disco floor. Kind of disco evergreen. Know of this song since early 90 and it is still a song to dance up till today.

It’s also a radio friendly song. I love the chorus when the singer shout it out loud " I Will Survive.. I WILL SURVIVE…." again and again. It hit you strong and shake you up when you are in deep shit situation.

The most ashame thing to me was I don’t know the name of the singer of this nice song until this morning when I took the initiative to surf for information on this song. Her name is Gloria Gaynor !   Anyone know her ? Is there any other song by her that you familiar with ?

Gaynor was a singer with the Soul Satisfiers, a jazz/pop band, in the 1960s. Her first solo single was "She’ll Be Sorry/Let Me Go Baby" (1965). In 1975 , she release the album Never Can Say Goodbye, which established her as a disco artist.

For the next few years, Gloria Gaynor would only enjoy a few moderate hits. For a long time, I hear of this nice song with chorus of "with you with you with you with you" but never put in effort to find out who was the singer.

I like this song… easy to listen and very smooth to ears. Since local radio station repeatly playing it for so many times a day. Finally I take note of the singer name… which is Chris Brown.

Was shock to discoved that he is a boy instead of a man when saw him performanced in American Idol with Jordin Spark. First time hear another song other than "With You". This time No Air. Wow…. impressed with his voice. Very nice. For than onward, I like to sing the phase "No Air No Air" not in his way but in my way… which is in very Chinese version and sound like no breath to talk anymore !

GERMANY EDGES INTO EURO 2008 FINAL AFTER DEFEATING TURKEY BY 3 - 2

I am not aware that above mentioned semi-final match was played on early morning. I was so happy when I found out that Germany had qualify themselve into this tournament final.  

I don’t know much about football but as usual… if there a German representative in a big event or show….. I will automatically join the fan club.

So who will face Germany in this weekend final ? Russia or Spain… only have the result on tomorrow morning when the play their turn.

Beside the fun part of watching (for me reading) the footballer chasing the ball and score goal in each match… one of the much more entertainment habit of reading Sport section on newspaper was tocheck out the behavior of the fans in each match.
