Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader ?

Anyone of you watch this program called "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader ?"

I started follow this show by chance as Ms Lai was in town and she insist to me to sit down with her for one of the episode. I was aware of this program on tv but not really pay much attention to it as you can see below, the host of this show not really a handsome guy right ? emoticon  Just found his name online, he is Jeff Foxworthy. Once I like the show, than I reliase why he have to be in such a boring look…. the reason was he is in a class. I don’t think his role is a teacher but he have to behave nice and neat since he lead a team of 5 kids.

By the time I join the program, the tv already running the mid season 1 episode. The original team of kids have changes, the girl on the right no more in the show, it was replace with Marki.

Oh ya, about the show. hehehehe…. forget to mention it…. hehehehehe….

Each week, the show producer will invite a guess to the classroom. US 1million will be the reward for the guest if he able to answer 11 Questions given by Jeff. All the questions were taken out from text book of primary school, something like from Year 1 to Year 5 (since the title have 5th Grader on it, correct me if wrong since i am not American)

For me, the fun part of watching this program is I am able to participate in most of the questions. I am able to guess the answers and test my own knowledge before the host gave the answer. It also mean I learn some knowledge by the end of each episode.

Usually I get excited when the questions are related to world geography, math and science.
The questions that i totally blank out will be American history as they usually related to presidents or civil war.

Sometime the viewer will feel good with themselve when the guest unable to answer a damn damn easy question. We got the feeling to ask him go home and put ourselve on the stage to play the game… hehehehehehe

For the purpose of posting this article, I discovered that Season 2 already finishing showing in US. The sad thing was they have brand new group of kids appear in the class. Hope I still follow this show by than.emoticon
