Goods & Bads

Good

After 2 weeks of bad flu + coughing + headache, I felt better this morning… for the first time in many days. In fact I was so sick yesterday till I decided not to anything with my blog….. emoticon

Anyone miss my blah blah blah ?  Don’t need to tell me… like or dont like… I am back to blah here right here right now.

Bad

Dow Jones losing 777 points, the worst single-day point loss ever, topping even the loss following the September 11 terrorist attacks. So the proposal of bail-out was rejected by US congress. In a stunning vote that shocked the capital and worldwide markets, the House on Monday defeated a $700 billion emergency rescue for the nation’s financial system, ignoring urgent warnings from President Bush and congressional leaders of both parties that the economy could nosedive without it.

What going to happen here in Asia will me a big fall on all the major stock market. However, I believe Malaysia’s stock market will not encounter a big fall today because we already in deep shit for last few months…. our internal weak politic scenario already mess up the country bad enough… no need US to drag us down further. emoticon

Good

Long vacation ahead. 01 & 02 October is the Muslim’s end of fasting month celebration.

http://izone.sg/images/1007/shr-izone.jpg Since these 2 big days fall on Wed & Thu, lot of people just take up leave on Monday, Tue & Friday….. as result… big silence in office and better still, on traffic on the road. No traffic on Kuala Lumpur street for one full week. Heaven !!!  emoticon

Bad

Ferrari lost badly in Singapore F1 night race…. I was so sad with the bad result from my favorite team until I lost mood to do a write up on it. I just know that for 2008, McLaren will be the ultimate winner for both Driver and Construction championship.

The only positive outcome from this wonderful night racing on Sunday night was Fernando Alonso emerged as the winner of this round. Begin to like him as he behave more proper now.

About Melamine

So much talking on media about Melamine and the tainted milk products since this compound causes babies dead in China. So what is Melamine ? Any idea emoticon ?

What is Melamine ?

Melamine is a white powder with unique properties - the chemical compound melamine (triamino-triazine - C3N6H6), consisting of carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen.

The German scientist Justus von Liebig first synthesized a compound in the 1830s and called it melamine. Commercial interest and synthesis of the compound started in 1937. Nowadays melamine is an important starting material for the production of synthetic thermosetting products worldwide. Melamine is often used as a brand name.

What is melamine mainly used for?

The main use of melamine is as a reactive intermediate for the manufacturing of melamine-formaldehyde (MF) and melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF) resins. Most melamine-based resins are used in decorative surface laminates and in adhesives for the production of water- and moisture-resistant wood-based panels.

The wood-based panel industry supplies end-markets such as the construction industry with boards, panels and beams. The majority of these panels are surfaced with durable, hardwearing decorated melamine papers. Panels and laminates are used as kitchen worktops and tabletops, and for furniture, flooring and wall coverings.

Oh dear, all that mentioned on the application of Melamine have nothing to foods. Not a consumeable item emoticon   How come it end up ini diary products ?  emoticon

The latest review in the media was they found Melamine in below candy !

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/9d/White_rabbit.jpgThe cute WHITE RABBIT candy from China emoticon  A very popular candy for kids. I like this candy when i am younger but not now. Foreseen the poor factory in China going to close shop after this report emoticon

Lobo - I’d Love You To Want Me

I’d Love You To Want Me by Lobo, one of the song that always melt me when I heard it on radio. Though it is 70s love song but the smooth melody and simple lyric can last forever.

http://i21.tinypic.com/2rgdu8o.jpghttp://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000000CT6.01._SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg

I listen to this song when I am still in primary school. I hardly understand English than but love the music. Ok, I am not aware it is such a romantic song emoticon  The cassette was a gift of my eldest sister than boy friend. She played the album regulary and I am one of the soul that charm by Lobo beside my sister. emoticon

I’d Love You to Want Me

When I saw you standing there
I about fell off my chair
When you moved your mouth to speak
I felt the blood go to my feet

Now it took time for me to know
What you tried so not to show
Something in my soul just cried
I see the want in your blue eyes

Chorus :
Baby, I’d love you to want me
The way that I want you
The way that it should be
Baby, you’d love me to want you
The way that I want to
If you’d only let it be

You told yourself years ago
You’d never let your feelings show
The obligation that you made
For the title that they gave

I heard this song on radio again last night…. after midnight… after sort out some issues…. just the right time to hear it….. emoticon

I know I sound damn old by sharing with you this ever green love song….. the fact is I am an old man now…. not shy away for this emoticon
