She’s Got The Look
Suppose to watch Cashmere Mafia (which end it ran of season 1 after few episodes) on Saturday night but discovered that it was replaced with a new reality show called She’s Got the Look instead.

So this not so new reality show (already end it ran in US) consist of a group of 10 woman who age above 35yo but still got the look. They tried to prove themselve as the winner of the most gorgeous mature female in the competition. Most of them were housewives with kids, they miss the opportutninty to be in the modeling business due to family ( ooop…. sound like my Miss Sui right
)

I don’t really expect much for this show at the beginning because who thought of female above 35 still good in cat walk…. but i am wrong…. 30 mins into the introduction I already like some of the contestants…. by the end of the pilot episode, 10 ladies was selected to be the finalist in the competition.
I picked out 4 of them which I think they are gorgeous and have strong personality to share with you all here.

Sharon is a sexy, charismatic 63-year-old from California, who describes herself as ‘outgoing, loving and trustworthy’. Recently widowed, Sharon spends her time as a metal-smith, jeweler and artist; and is a devoted mother and grandmother. Sharon feels she would be a good model because ‘as a mature woman’ she has great ‘strength and exuberance for life that shines through’; and is a ‘good listener and quick learner’. She feels her ‘teeth, legs and smile’ are her best physical features, and names Lauren Hutton and Beverly Johnson as her favorite beauties, because of their incredible ‘radiant spirit’. Sharon presently makes jewelry and art from her home studio and shares her time with her sons.

Roxanne is a striking 40-year-old beauty from California, who describes herself as ‘ambitious, competitive and on fire’. She loves being fit and is even a professionally trained belly dancer. She considers her best physical features to be her red hair and her smile, and she feels she’d make a great model because she’s ‘tall yet petite’ and a ‘fabulous chameleon.’ Roxanne names Cindy Crawford as a great inspiration, and defines beauty as something that goes ‘beyond physical appearance, and is found in true joy and happiness of spirit’. After overcoming a difficult divorce, Roxanne feels stronger and wiser than before, and is ready to commit herself 100 percent to the pursuit of acting and modeling. Roxanne also takes great pride in her medical missions to Nicaragua, knowing that she’s actively making a difference in people’s lives.

Karin is a striking 40-year-old Swede living in California who describes herself as ‘kind, creative, analytical and dedicated’ (especially to her cat, Elvis, who is very supportive of her new adventure). A self-professed ‘tom boy,’ Karin never pursued modeling, instead choosing to focus on a career as a lawyer, and later became a writer and bass player in a rock band. Karin defines beauty as ‘inner and outer grace,’ ‘integrity’ and ‘style.’ Although she’s not sure what her best features are, she admits she likes her legs ‘from the knees down’ and her ‘small ears.’ She’s proud to have overcome her ‘extreme social shyness and awkwardness’ enough to explore new avenues and is now ready to reach her potential. Karin says Linda Evangelista is her favorite model, and she thinks she’d make a great model because she’s easy to work with, has stamina and can transform herself as necessary.

Bahia is a sultry 37-year-old presently living in California. She describes herself as ‘worldy’ – a product of a past which has given her ‘many shades and contours’. She never previously pursued modeling due to her conservative French-Algerian upbringing, but decided to redefine those limitations as an adult. Bahia considers her best physical feature to be her Mediterranean eyes, and claims that ‘beauty is impossible to describe, except you know it when you behold it.’ She believes she’d make a great model because she can ‘work’ any outfit — from a $2 vintage T-shirt to an evening gown — and she’s also reliable and professional.
