How to recover files from formatted drive ?

Was in very tension emoticon mind since Tuesday morning when my notebook suddenly corrupted, unable to reboot and eventually the IT guy confirmed with me that my C: drive GONE emoticon

Disaster strike because I have not backup those photos I took on Perth trip. Luckly this time I kept all my working related files at D: drive which never affected by this damaged.

For days, I am thinking of any other way to get back some of these pictures but I know I never do backup to thumbdrive or anything. The other things I did with these 200pcs full of memory photos was I reduced some of the photos size (about 30 of them) and put it on my blog. What to do, download these few remain photos and save it to my backup drive just now (Finally… backup)

I also contacted Madam E & Ms Sui as I thought I did forwarded them some of my more personal photos for sharing… No good news, both ladies said "Where got photo to me from your Perth trip!"

What other channel I can try ? Yes, go for data recovery software. I found one such shareware online on afternoon. Out of curiousity, run the program, after 30mins of searching… slowly those disappeared OLD photos (some photo back to 1yr ago) appeared on the result column. I get excited and after 1hour search done and I can see those photos from Perth trip all listed.

Happy for a few minuntes emoticon only because when I pressed "NEXT" button, the instruction "Get Product License" pop out. Meaning I have to pay USD 39+ if I want to use this software to recover those suppose to be forever gone files.

Money or Memory ? My mind tell me TAKE back the photos no matter what way. This was the first time I am so ready to pay online for a software.

Since it is dinner time, I decided to come back for this subject after meal. However, the petty me never stop thinking about $$$ so began to tell myself => Search for another Shareware which really free !

This thought brought me to below link which provide a very simple + practical totally free data recovery software.

Installed and run the software for 30 mins and there it go…… more than 10,000 various type of photos appeared in the list and all my Perth photos are there. emoticon

With out delay, I quickly copied those photos and save them into my external HDD this time. No more excuse of picture gone for this time.

No more sadness of gone memory….. Cheer to online FREEWARE !
